Very Fine in condition excepting for a paper thin in the bottom left hand corner and a few pin holes. It is the equal finest known.
A fully signed and issued note ex the 'New England Hoard' This hoard which surfaced in 1971 consisted of 108 Five Pound Notes and 15 Ten Pound Pound Notes from four banks. There were 35 Five Pound Notes of this bank which were generally described as in poor to fine condition many with rust and holes.
